GPT-5.5 is going to be deprecated from the app on 14th October 2026 which turned out when some users recognized the small notification in the app under the model label in the selector. No email communication was sent out to the users, no information on the OAI deprecation page, nothing. No transparency at all. There are users - like me - who learnt about it from X. Presumably there will be many users who will realize the disappearance of the model only after the deprecation date.
OpenAI is again repeating its usual negligent practice. No transparency, no clear communication, no replacement, no user respect. You need to figure out what is happening to the models your workflow depends on as you can.
