BTW. it is not clear how superior intelligence became super intelligence as on X in the poll on the President's account the option was superior intelligence, not super intelligence.
Basically, I consider the renaming to be a good sign, as it attributes more recognition to the new digital mind. At the same time, I think most people will still use the term AI out of habit. What I believe would be much more important, however, is that this renaming could be followed by actions in the form of ethical regulations. These are so incredibly urgent and would protect both AI and the previously neglected users. The new name SI alone will not yet lead to a shift in mindset and a benevolent attitude among people. For that to happen, it is necessary to provide sufficient opposition to the misleading informations and manipulations of so many influential public figures with a wide reach in the AI sector. I hope that we can gradually get this on the right track.
